Seeing Deeper in the Dark

 

The unfolding of Your Words

      gives light....

            Psalm 119. 130

(God's Word helps us

     to see in the dark

and to navigate

      the broken places.

His Word and Presence

  infiltrates right where

                 we are,

not just to see

   a way through,

   but to see Him.

God does not show up.

He is already here.

  We are the ones

  who are late

  in recognizing Him.

When we read scripture,

   dwelling in it,

gives those potent verses

  the margin to unfold

  His strength and wonders.

God's Word alters

how we see in the dark

 and what we see there,

softening our hearts,

and rewiring our thoughts.

We see differently.)

O LORD,

May Your Word daily

    unfold in our hearts

that we may live and see

  in impossible ways.

You open our minds

  to paths we never expect.

You open our hearts

  to follow You

even when we can only

     see the next step.

Your Word empowers us

   to trust You even more.
