Finding Help in Time of Need

 

Let us then with confidence

draw near to the

          throne of grace,

that we may receive mercy

and find grace to help

      in time of need.

       Hebrews 4. 16

(When we draw near to Jesus

and personally realize

     the grace that is there,

it does not just help

  ourselves in desperate times,

but opens up and unfolds

unfathomable resources,

bottomless reserves,

and awareness

         to help others.

We find grace to help

  in any kind of need.)

O LORD,

Thank You for Your mercy

    upon us

that we can know how to respond

   to those around us

who need Your grace too.

You do not just re-supply us

  but enlarge the scope

 of Your ministry through us.

Draw us near.

You are who we need.
