(Obediences that make

     no sense to us

make total sense to God.

There are some obediences

that we cannot explain

         nor understand,

but we need just to trust

and follow God into them.

When God says go,

or He says no,

are based on far deeper purposes

than we can comprehend.

The greater success may be

   being faithful to Him.

Even in this.)

O LORD,

You live.

And in that reality,

   everything changes.

Even our hearts.

You are bringing us through

to a deeper intimacy with You,

strengthened in You,

not defeated by circumstances.

You are bringing to pass

    a whole new story

    that brings You glory.

Help us to rely on You,

respond to You,

and trust You

even in mystery.

You redeem

           all things,

even what is far beyond

       our limited vision.
