I will thank You

   in the great congregation;

in the mighty throng

   I will praise You.

(Things

      don’t just happen in a vacuum.

God has given

         each one of us

a story not just

             for His glory 

    but of His glory.

It is a testimony of His Presence,

when told to others,

     when shared with others,

that His power 

     is multiplied exponentially

     in lives far beyond our own,

     in ways we may never be aware.

Not just about me,

not just what God has done,

    but what He is doing.

God never works

       in singular outcomes.

God uses our story

   to encourage others

   and to point others to Him.)

O LORD,

Thank You for the story 

that You are writing 

             in our lives 

     and through our lives.

Remind us

    that You are in this,

    that You are with us,

    that You are using us

         for Your glory.

Use not just our actions 

       but our words 

and help us 

    to see and seize opportunities 

to point others to You.

Even now.

Even in this.
