Wait for the LORD;
be strong,
and let your heart
take courage;
wait for the LORD!
Psalm 27. 14
("Trust Me in this."
Not waiting for God
to catch up
or show up,
but seeking Him who has
already gone before us,
providing,
and redeeming
in ways we do not realize,
far beyond our vision,
far beyond our own lives.
Even now, even in this.
It is not a matter
of God showing up,
but us.
Being courageous means
not going it alone
without Him.)
O LORD,
You never promised that
life would be easy
in this broken world,
but "Fear not.
I am with you."
Help us to be
faithful to You
and fearless for You
even in what
we do not understand,
knowing that You are
always loving,
always present.
We have a hope that appears
ridiculous to this world
and makes no sense,
if not for Your Presence with us.
Please help us
to bring Your Name,
Your peace,
Your love
to this impossible situation.
