Who made 

the depths of the sea

a way for the redeemed

       to pass over.

             Isaiah 51. 10

(Even in the unexpected,

the unlikely,

the “where am I?

and “what am I doing here?”

even when I 

      can’t touch the bottom,

God always provides a way 

  where there seems to

           be no way through.

Always a way,

always a deeper grace,

    an incredible path.

Watch for it,

    wait on Him.

We want to rush through.

God says,

       “Walk with Me.”

Don’t miss this.)

O LORD,

We watch,

we wait,

we are filled with wonder,

even when

   this is not the path

           we would have chosen.

Help us to not miss out

   on Your vision,

   on seeing Your hand,

on knowing You more,

             even in this.
