Cease to do evil,
learn to do good,
seek justice,
correct oppression
bring justice
to the fatherless,
plead the widow’s cause.
Isaiah 1. 16-17
(“Walk with Me.”
This is what it looks like.
This is what happens,
wherever we may be.
A new heart,
transformed by Christ,
sees beyond the confines
of our own lives.)
O LORD,
Teach us Your ways
that we may walk
in Your paths
and in Your light.
Help us to
intentionally follow You,
aware of Your Presence,
bringing Your love
into the chaos,
abiding in You,
and taking every thought
captive to You.
Help us to seek healing
and restoration
in painful situations,
responsive to You,
even in the unexpected.
