For He is good,

for His steadfast love

            endures forever.

                 2 Chronicles 5. 13

(Not a motto,

not the refrain to a song,

but the reality

       that changes our lives.

Who He is

  distinguishes who we are

            and everything we do.

And that should look

              very different.)

O LORD,

How I see You,

directly impacts

       how I see others

    and how I see myself.

You are good

and Your love never gives up

          nor ever gives out.

No matter what.

May these words

      repeated so often in scripture

be not just a reminder,

    nor a refrain,

but a response to You.
