And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced

because God had prepared for the people,

for the thing came about suddenly.

(Worship prepares me

and equips me

         for what is next.

Even in what is unexpected,

devoting ourselves

            to what is eternal.

A mind set,

a heart set,

strategically placed

   and divinely appointed.)

O LORD,

We cannot know

what we will face today,

but in worshiping You,

         we are ready

to serve,

to love,

to bring You glory,

        even in this.

Nothing is random.

God is at work.
