As soon as Solomon

          finished his prayer

...the glory of the LORD

          filled the temple.

               2 Chronicles 7. 1

(When we pray,

God's glory comes upon it

in ways we cannot

                even imagine.

Everything changes

when we bring it before the LORD.

Even our hearts.)

O LORD,

Teach us to pray,

teach us to come before You,

and pray expectantly.

Not to seek particular answers,

        but to seek You.

Open our hearts

    to extraordinary change.

When we seek You,

     we see everything differently,

because You are already here.

You bring Your glory

                           to it.
