Seven Words That Change Everything

 

But on the first day of the week,

at early dawn,

they went to the tomb,

taking the spices they prepared.

And they found the stone

    rolled away from the tomb,

but when they went in

they did not find

   the body of the Lord Jesus.

....He is not here but has risen.

                    Luke 24. 1-2, 6

(He is not here but has risen

are the seven words

that changed 

       the history of the world

       and radically changes us.

Jesus is not a dead

          historical leader,

but is the Son of God,

  still right here with us.

Jesus did not need

   to move the stone

   to get out of the tomb,

but He did it

    that we would know

    He had risen.

And that changes everything.)

O LORD,

We come to You in awe

   of who You are

and what You did for us

to save us

and bring us into relationship

               with You.

Come and live in us.
