But immediately

He spoke to them

and said, "Take care;

     It is I.

Do not be afraid!"

(Recognize that Jesus

    walks with us,

right through this mess,

this rocky trail,

this miry bog,

these shadowlands.

No reason to be afraid.

Do not let fear distract

  but let Jesus lead

  through it.

With Jesus,

we see it differently.)

O LORD,

Help us to see You

and walk with You

into situations

we could never have

done without You.

Oh, the wonders

we would have missed

       along the way.

Help us to trust You

even when we don't

            understand

or can't yet see what

  is around the bend.

You are leading us

into Your story

to bring others to You.
