Why, we felt like we had received

the sentence of death,

but that was

to make us rely 

not on ourselves

        but on God

Who raises the dead.

(What hard thing am I going through?

God has deeper purposes in it,

          and not just for me.

God will redeem 

in ways I cannot ever imagine.

Use it, O LORD,

  to draw me closer 

and point others to You).
