...found grace in the wilderness.

..."I have loved you

with an everlasting love,

therefore, I have continued

   My faithfulness to you.

             Jeremiah 31. 2-3

(Why in the world

are we in this wilderness?

To learn,

to know,

to be assured

   of how much we are loved   

                   by God.

We find His grace

     in unlikely places

and His Presence

     in the unexpected,

that we would know

     and not just believe,

that the LORD is

       the Almighty God.

And He is

          still with us.)

O LORD,

Help us in these

      wilderness places,

this unknown territory,

where there is

       no discernible path,

our imaginations

  running rampant in the forest

      for what lies beyond the

             next bend,

amidst scary howls in the night,

even then,

to be still my soul

      and worship You.

Help us to discover before us

    another dimension of You,

    a deeper intimacy with You

that we never knew before.
