And He Did

 

And when he came near,

Jesus asked him,

"What do you want Me

    to do for you?"

             Luke 18. 40-41

("I would do anything for you."

           And Jesus did.

His life for ours.

There is no Easter

   without Jesus giving His life

   for us.

We are seen.

We are heard.

We are loved.

We are forgiven.

Always loved. Already forgiven.

Because that is

        why Jesus came.)

O LORD,

You came to save us

              from our sin.

You came to save us

       from ourselves.

Release us.

Complete us.

Transform us.

That others will see

     that we are different now.

And we will see the same.

Align our hearts with Yours.

Thank You for dying for us.

Thank You for rising from the dead

   that we can know

   You are who You said:

Savior of the world.

Savior of me.
