With what shall I come

         before the LORD,

and bow myself

     before God on high?

...He has told you, O man,

what is good,

and what does the LORD

             require of you,

but to do justice

and to love kindness

and to walk humbly

            with your God?

            Micah 6. 6-8

or achievements,

or trophies,

but He wants our hearts.

What is God's will in this?

To love God and others

by doing justice,

loving kindness,

and walking humbly with Him.

What does that look like

       in what is before me today?)

Who do I want to be?

                 Above all,

O LORD,

Please help us

  to show our love for You

in what we do,

what we say,

even in our attitudes,

and how we love others.

Open up our hearts

   to do justice,

        not just talk about it,

   to love kindness,

        in unexpected places,

and to walk humbly

        with You,

   even through this,

   even into Your purposes.
