And the land that was desolate

            shall be tilled,

instead of being the desolation

    that it was in the sight

    of all who passed by.

And they will say,

"This land that was desolate

has become

      like the garden of Eden."

               Ezekiel 36. 34-35

(What barren place has

       God placed me

   to till the land and

   to bear fruit?

God changes the landscape,

    He redeems the impossible.

God sees this place,

this situation,

these people,

even us

            with different eyes.)

O LORD,

You bring restoration

    to what we only see

    as devastation.

You bring Your glory

         to this place.

Please help us

      to be faithful to You

--to know that

        You are in this--

even here,

even in this.
