But the Lord is faithful.

He will establish you

and guard you

    against the evil one.

           2 Thessolonians 3.3

(What if there was

              nothing to fear

and only for us to be faithful?

How then would we live,

how differently

             would we approach this

    because we are His?

The Lord makes

      His footsteps a way

even into what we cannot see

                            yet.)

O LORD,

Thank You

    because You are God,

    and we are not.

Thank You

    because You are faithful

    and unchanging

    and all loving.

You know the way

        through this day.

We pray not for You to fit

              into our plans,

but for You to lay out before us

   Your day for each one of us,

           every intimate detail,

        for Your glory.

We know that You go before,

You walk beside,

You reside within,

You have our back.
