      on dry ground 

in the midst

           of the Jordan.

(What is my Jordan?

What am I facing 

that is impossible 

       without God?

Or the unexplainable triumph 

    when I walk with Him?

How do I navigate this?

Only with Him.

God guides

    in unexpected ways.)

O LORD,

You know what we face.

You know our way

           through it.

You know 

    Your profound purposes

    embedded in it,

for Your glory

  and for incredible good.

Even when we cannot yet see

          the other shore.

please give us Your courage 

    in the midst of our Jordan 

and witness dry ground 

in impossible places.
