     and settled in it.

(“Why am I here?”

God positions us

         strategically 

for His purposes,

even where

      we would not choose,

to bring His name there,

to sow His Word,

to restore and rebuild,

not what’s in it for me,

   but for the welfare 

               of many people,

for His glory.

Not just willing,

     but responsive to Him.)

O LORD, 

Align my heart

   to Your way in this,

this unexpected place,

this impossible situation,

these difficult people

         (of whom I am one)

      for Your glory.

Even here.
