The LORD bless you

         and keep you;

the LORD make His face

    to shine upon you

and be gracious to you;

the LORD lift up

  His countenance upon you

       and give you peace.

                Numbers 6.24-26

(Bring His name

and ask His blessing

into this situation 

    and relationship.

God does not just

change the trajectory,

     but also my heart in it.)

O LORD,

You know far deeper 

than we are aware 

of the desperate need

  for You all around us.

Help us to cover this day,

these mine fields,

these miry bogs,

those we love dearly,

those we struggle to love,

with Your strong blessing 

      all over each one.

In Your name,

for Your glory.
