But truly

   God has listened;

He has attended 

  to the voice

  of my prayer.

          Psalm 66. 19

(And He is not limited 

          by it.

God listens.

    Am I listening to Him?)

O LORD God,

You know

   even before a word

   is on my lips,

even before I know

            to pray,

You are already there,

everything ready,

everything already 

       in motion.

Thank You

not that You would work

Your mighty hand in this,

    but You are.
