And Every Moment Inbetween

 

From the rising of the sun

       to its setting,

the name of the LORD

   is to be praised.

           Psalm 113.3

(The bookends of our days

and every moment

            in between.

There is not a day

 that God does not reveal

        His Presence.

May we be aware

           of exalting Him

throughout the day

and thanking Him

         every night

before we sleep.)

O LORD,

From the moment we wake up

to the last vestiges of the day,

      You are here with us.

Help us to not just be

            aware of You,

not just mindful,

  but having the mind of Christ

in whatever we face today.

The sunrise and sunset

            are glorious,

                   as are You.

May we worship You with awe

    all the day long

in everything we do and say

          and think today.
