Then David said to Ahimelech,

"Then have you not here

a spear or sword at hand?"

...And the priest said,

"The sword of Goliath

                   the Philistine,

whom you struck down

  in the valley of Elah..."

             1 Samuel 22. 8-9

(God equips,

God provides,

even with what we

      don't realize we have.

Faithfulness to God

                  always

comes back to you

 to prepare

 and sustain

   in impossible places.

God's works

        are multiplied

    far beyond our own lives.)

O LORD,

Thank You for

the chronicle of Your faithfulness

that encourages,

strengthens,

reveals

    Your goodness to us,

manifest

             and multiplied.

You give a new definition

  to being between

            a rock and a hard place,

because that is

       where we find Your Presence,

Your provision in unlikely places,

and Your glory

          all over everything.
