After this David inquired

           of the LORD,

“Shall I go up into

 any of the cities of Judah?”

And the LORD said to him,

              “Go up.”

David said, 

“To which shall I go up?”

And He said, 

           “ To Hebron.”

          2 Samuel 2. 1

(Are we seeking the LORD 

              in this?

Or do we just not want

         to make a mistake?

God aligns our hearts

     and guides our steps,

when we come before Him.

Is God waiting on us

        to get moving

          and get involved 

        right where we are?

What is right before us?

    And then, the next.)

O LORD,

Thank you for this day

and Your Presence in it.

Help us to follow You,

serve You

and respond to You

in whatever 

   we do today,

   wherever we are.

Help us to realize 

there are 

    no small obediences,

no detail too infinitesimal,

but eternal

    and for Your glory.
