Jesus said to her,

"I am the resurrection

                and the life.

Whoever believes in Me,

though he die,

            yet shall he live.

                 John 11. 25

(Because He lives,

our lives are

           changed forever,

not just in the life to come,

       but right now.)

He is risen.

He is risen indeed.

O LORD,

You burst forth from the tomb

to show us

that You are victorious over death,

that You give us life,

that You love us so much,

    to bring us

    into relationship with You.

Help us

   to practice resurrection

until we know it by heart.
