Behold,

     God is my helper;

the LORD

   is the upholder of my life.

O LORD,

Please help me

to turn my eyes to You,

not ignoring circumstances

   but being able then

   to respond to them

and bring You glory.

Even in this.

You have not left me alone

      to deal with what is

      impossible and overwhelming,

but that I may know

   You are right here with me,

that I may know Your strength,

that I may know You

                       more.
