Thus says the LORD,

"Have you seen

     all this great multitude?

Behold, I will give it

   into your hand this day,

and you shall know

       that I am the LORD."

                 1 Kings 20. 13

(The real victory

in this impossible

    and overwhelming situation

is that we would

              know He is God,

and that we would

        know Him more.)

O LORD,

Thank you for this situation,

each one of us

     with hordes of invaders

     multiplied against us.

Redeem, O LORD.

Bring Your victory to this,

     the fruit of hearts

     changed by You,

              including mine.

Help us to know You more,

    new dimensions of who You are.
