And the Lord said to Paul

   one night in a vision,

“Do not be afraid,

but go on speaking,

and do not be silent.

for I am with you,

and no one will

     attack you to harm you,

for I have many in this city

       who are My people.

                  Acts 18. 10

(You are surrounded

     by God’s people 

     right where you are,

even those you do not know

                        yet.

Seek them out. 

“Do not be afraid,

          for I am with you.”)

O LORD,

Surround us by Your people.

Help us to seek out

      the fellowship of believers 

           all around us,

the strength to gain

     and to share with others.
