O LORD,

in the morning 

You hear my voice;

in the morning 

I prepare a sacrifice to You,

        and watch.

as God lays out His day for me,

His way in this,

His say in this,

His slender scarlet thread

   through impossible places.

If I am only praying for an answer,

    I am missing out on Him.
