you do not know now,

but afterward

      you will understand."

(Even though 

I do not comprehend

what God is up to

--this impossible situation,

      this long waiting,

      this awkward timing--

does not mean

that it does not bear

God's profound 

     and divine purposes.

I just cannot see it yet.)
