   who seek You

rejoice

and be glad in You;

may those

who love Your salvation

say continually,

"Great is the LORD!"

How different

would we live,

if we said out loud

and responded,

      like that?

And meant it.

Those words,

that kind of heart,

would totally change

  our perspective of

  whatever we face,

pointing ourselves

    and others to Him.

Do others see our

unexplainable

    and underlying joy?

Do we acknowledge

the LORD even in this?)

O LORD,

Help us to not just

seek and see You

     and Your hand,

but to acknowledge You

before others,

in our perspectives,

in how we approach

         the hard stuff,

even in our attitudes,

which tell a lot about us.

It is Yours.

We are Yours.

Help our joy in You

 show in how we live

and how we love.

We are forever

          in Your care.
