Now I remind you,

brothers and sisters,

of the gospel I preached to you,

which you received,

      in which you stand...

                  1 Corinthians 15. 1

(Not a matter 

    of remembering the gospel

    and receiving it

but recognize how

     the good news infiltrates

  and changes our hearts

and not just for what we stand

         but in Whom.

The gospel 

      is not a cause

but a relationship.)

O LORD,

Deepen the gospel 

          in our hearts 

that Your love 

     may identify us as Yours.

Strengthen our stand in You

        and change our hearts

by the gospel,

for the gospel,

and for Your glory.
