Forty years

You sustained them

    in the wilderness,

and they lacked nothing;

their clothes 

     did not wear out 

and their feet

     did not swell. 

        Nehemiah 9. 21

(It's not a wilderness 

                  to God,

but a place of

   His great faithfulness,

in ways we do not even know,

   quiet miracles

      we do not recognize.

His fingerprints 

  are all over your life).
