But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,

who are little to be

     among the clans of Judah,

from you shall come forth for Me

one who is to be ruler in Israel,

whose origin is from old,

                 from ancient days.

                             Micah 5. 2

(These words were penned 

in the 8th century BC,

pinpointing exactly where

      the Messiah was to be born.

Jesus did not just come to earth

       as a reason to have Christmas,

but to save us from our sin,

God's redemptive plan all along.

God loves us that much.)
