    and all its inhabitants,

it is I 

   who keep steady its pillars.

(Not if, 

but when my world is rocked,

if I have I staked my life on God

      in ordinary ways

      and ordinary days,

storms do not shake 

but only strengthen

and deepen my roots in Him.)
