But when Jesus heard it, He said,

"This illness is not unto death;

it is for the glory of God,

so that

 the Son of God may be glorified

                          by means of it.

                          John 11.4

(This illness,

this hardship,

this difficulty you are going through

is not random,

       nor without hope.

It is being used profoundly by God,

even now, 

even in this,

              for His glory.

Seek Him through it.)
