Who is the King of glory?
The LORD,
            strong and mighty,
the LORD,
             mighty in battle.

(No matter with what you struggle
--and everyone struggles
                   with something--
God is able to grant victory over it,
maybe in ways you would never expect.
Seek Him in it.  Take one step.
God will redeem.)

So Jotham became mighty ,

because 

     he ordered his ways

before the LORD his God.

When we align ourselves with God,

there is nothing ordinary.

The extraordinary emerges by His design,

     even in ways we may never see.

 for what He is doing,

 but how He is doing it.)

And Jehoida made a covenant 

between himself and all the people

and the king

that they should be

              the LORD'S people.

(Be the LORD'S.

How should that change

what I say and do today?

How does that change who I am?)

          and praise Him in holy array

          an overwhelming situation.
Fear just blocks out the light.
Seeking God helps me to see
         His way into it.)

If you confess with your lips

    that Jesus is Lord

and believe in your heart

that God raised Him

      "Jesus is Lord"

is not just another worldview.

Jesus changes not just how 

      I view the world, 

             but my heart.

His Lordship radically alters

I have only to trust Him into it.

   consecrating himself today

(Consecrating myself every morning

changes the course and

evidences a different outcome

to the day.)

God's specialty.

Watch and see what He does with it,

          how He redeems.)

How long, O LORD?

            in Your steadfast love,

    trust is not something 

         someday I need to do,

but what gets me through.

Even in what may appear as silence,

    the LORD is whispering,

            "Follow Me deeper.")

   to seek the LORD your God.

Trusting God is the only way to get through this.)

My responsibility is to follow Him,
    not dictate how He does it.)

      awareness of His Presence.

to be faithful to His purposes,

Jabez called on the God of Israel,

"Oh that You would bless me

and enlarge my border,

       so that it might not hurt me."

And God granted what he asked.
