       in God's eyes,
nothing He cannot
       profoundly use.)

But you shall seek the place
which the LORD your God will choose
out of all your tribes
to put His name
and make His habitation there;
thither you shall go...
        Deuteronomy 12.5

(Wherever God leads you,
bring His faithful presence there.
You are there for His purposes.)

Know therefore

that the LORD your God

                is God,

the faithful God

who keeps covenant

    and steadfast love

with those who love Him

and keep His commandments,

to a thousand generations.

                Deuteronomy 7. 9

(My relationship with God

   and the choices I make

   in following Him

impacts directly

         and profoundly

people I don't even know.)

...and you shall

love the LORD your God

with all your heart,

and with all your soul,

and with all your might.

         Deuteronomy 6.5

(Today's to do list.

Every which way you can,

in all you do,

how you respond,

how you live,

that which distinguishes you.)

But from there

you will seek

  the LORD your God,

and you will find Him,

if you search after Him

with all your heart

and with all your soul.

             Deuteronomy 4. 29

(A daily seeking,

     a daily listening.

God will reveal Himself

to you. )

For the LORD your God

has blessed you

in all the work 

       of your hands;

He knows your going

  through this great wilderness;

these forty years

the LORD your God

     has been with you;

you have lacked 

               nothing.

        Deuteronomy 2.7

(God has been with you,

   and He is with you still.

Focus in His faithfulness

and you will know

             what to do.)

You let men ride

     over our heads,

we went through fire

     and through water,

yet

   You have brought us forth

   to a spacious place.

                 Psalm 66.12

(Even through this,

His faithfulness is revealed.

Every day   

is a story of faithfulness.)

...the hills gird themselves

               with joy...

               Psalm 65. 12

(What am I choosing

to wear today?

It impacts my vision

and affects everyone

around me.)

And when He had ceased speaking,
He said to Simon,
"Put out into the deep
and let down your nets
              for a catch."
And Simon answered,
"Master, we toiled all night
               and took nothing!
But at Your word,
I will let down the nets."
And when they had done this,
they enclosed a great shoal of fish,
and as their nets were breaking,
they beckoned to their partners
in the other boat to come
                    and help them.
And they came
        and filled both boats,
so that they began to sink.

                        Luke 5. 4-7

(The point is not the fish,
but heeding God
     in what He calls me to do,
even when it doesn't make sense.)

O God, 

You are my God,

I seek You,

my soul thirsts for You,

my flesh faints for You,

as in a dry and thirsty land

where no water is.

               Psalm 63.1

(Desire for God,

crying out to Him,

is the beginning of change.

Your face, O LORD,

           do I seek.)

For God alone

my soul waits in silence,

for my hope is from Him.

               Psalm 62.5

(Am I seeking an answer,

      or God Himself?

God is always aiming me

   to something 

   I cannot yet see.

Silence is not His absence,

but the deepening

     of His Presence.)

Hear my cry, O God,
       listen to my prayer;
from the end of the earth
            I call to You,
    when my heart is faint.
Lead me to the rock
that is higher than I;
for You are my refuge,
a strong tower
          against the enemy.

                    Psalm 61. 1-3

(Surrendering my concerns
         or my situation to the LORD
puts my heart in a new place,
a different perspective,
a higher rock
     where I can see my way through.)

With God,

we shall do valiantly;

it is He

who will tread down our foes.

                Psalm 60. 12

(The key is

            with God.

Follow Him into it,

      step by step,

through what

only appears impossible.)

And an angel of the LORD
         appeared to them,
and the glory of the LORD
         shone around them,
and they were filled with fear.
And the angel said to them,
         "Be not afraid..."

                  Luke 2. 9-10

(Sometimes the center of God's will
is a mystery
and the middle of a scary place.
Even then, fear not.
Seek Him in the midst.)

O God,

break the teeth in their mouths,

tear out the fangs 

        of the young lions, O LORD!

                     Psalm 58. 6

(O LORD, 

release the grip

    of those things I fear

that I may serve you freely.

Fear just blinds me

          to Your presence.)

I cry to God Most High,

to God who fulfills 

      His purpose for me.

                    Psalm 57. 2

(Even in what 

     we cannot understand,

He is working in mighty ways.

Seek Him through it.)

When I am afraid,

       I put my trust in You.

In God whose word I praise,

in God I trust without a fear.

What can flesh do to me?

                 Psalm 56. 3-4

("In God I trust"

    is the antidote to fear.

It impacts everything I do,

engraved on my heart,

   not just on our coins.)

But I call upon God,

and the LORD will save me.

             Psalm 55.16

(Not time to panic,

      but a reminder

      to seek God in this)

Behold,

     God is my helper;

the LORD 

      is the upholder of my life.

                 Psalm 54.4

(God never intended 

for us to go it alone.

Seek Him,

seek His help

       in whatever is before you today.)

But my servant Caleb,

because he has a different spirit

and has followed Me fully...

                Numbers 14.24

(It changed the course of his life,

not just about having a good attitude

      but a faithful heart).

...I will go before you...

              Mark 14.28

(Preparing our way,

   equipping our hearts,

and dwelling within.

Seek His Presence,

even in this.)

...but now
our strength is dried up,
and there is nothing at all
but this manna to look at.

               Numbers 11.6

(Complaining will sap you.
Grumbling makes us look
right past God's goodness.)

Offer to God 

   a sacrifice of thanksgiving,

and pay your vows

          to the Most High;

and call on Me

  in the day of trouble;

I will deliver you,

and you shall glorify Me.

            Psalm 50. 14-15

(Thank Him for what He is doing,

trust Him through it,

and He will take care

               of the outcome.

The bottom line

   is He is glorified.)

went into the tent of meeting

to speak with the LORD...

(A daily conversation,

a daily strengthening,

that changes the course

              of my day,

aligns my heart with His,

and resets my focus on Him.)

...and they shall do all

      that needs to be done...

...appointed,

      each to his task

      of serving or carrying...

(To what has the LORD 

     appointed me today?

Pursue every endeavor with excellence.

I cannot possibly realize

     how incredibly God will use it.)

...they shall encamp

facing the tent of meeting

on every side.

               Numbers 2.2

(Guidance comes when

God is not just somewhere

                   on your radar,

but the intentional focus.

In whatever you face today,

    encamp facing Him 

    on every side of your situation.)

God is our refuge and strength,

a very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear

though the earth should change,

though the mountains shake

   in the heart of the sea,

though its waters roar and foam,

though the mountains tremble

      with its tumult.

...Be still,

      and know that I am God.

                    Psalm 46. 1-3, 10

         God is.)

Seek Him

    and His ways

             for His glory.)

(Every concern,

every endeavor,
