And Jesus stopped

          to show you My power

      My name may be declared

       throughout all the earth.

(The LORD always has a deeper purpose,

    that which we cannot even comprehend)

Even though I walk
    through the valley of deep darkness,
                  I fear no evil,
   for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
   they comfort me.

(I am not alone.
And His greater purposes prevail.)

To You they cried and were saved,
      in You they trusted,
and were not disappointed.

                     Psalm 22.5

("In God we trust,"
    written not just on our coins,
       but by our lives.)

For truly, I say to you,

if you have faith

       as a grain of mustard seed,

you will say to this mountain,

   "Move from here to there,"

and it will move;

and nothing will be impossible to you.

(What are my mountains?

 Do I have any idea what God can do?)

As for you,
     you meant evil against me,
but God meant it for good,
to bring it about
that many people should be kept alive,
as they are today.

(God always has deeper purposes.
On that we can depend.)

...by the God of your father who will help you,
by God Almighty who will bless you,
with blessings of heaven above,
blessings of the deep
           that couches underneath...

                           Genesis 49.25

(assurance of that which we cannot comprehend,
       blessings both seen and unseen)

But she came and knelt before Him,
saying,
       "Lord, help me."

                    Matthew 15.25

(the beginning of transformation)

...for God sent me before you 

        to preserve life.

...So it was not you who sent me here,

                       but God.

                             Genesis 45.8

(God always has a greater plan,

deeper than we can comprehend.

We have only to be faithful).

He made my feet like hinds' feet,

       and set me secure upon the heights.

...You gave a wide place

                for my steps under me,

and my feet did not slip.

                                 Psalm 18. 33, 36

(No matter where He leads,

          even the scary places of life,

     take one step at a time,

                 and keep your eyes on Him)

For God has made me fruitful
       in the land of my affliction.

                        Genesis 41.52

(Strategically placed for His purposes)

...and his master saw 

   that the LORD was with him,

and that the LORD

caused all that he did

        to prosper in his hands.

                      Genesis 39.3

(The presence of the LORD

changes everything you do, 

how you do it,

and why you do it.

May He be evident to

everyone around you.)

I bless the LORD who gives me counsel,
     in the night also my heart instructs me.
I keep the LORD always before me;
because He is at my right hand,
               I shall not be moved.

                         Psalm 16.8

(LORD, show me how to navigate this day)

Do not be afraid of sudden panic,

 or of the storm of the wicked when it comes,

for the LORD will be your confidence

and will keep your foot from being caught.

                                Proverbs 3. 25-26

(Run with the LORD in the little things,

   and His strength is revealed in the crisis)

Come to Me,

     all who labor and are heavy laden,

and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you,

              and learn from Me,

for I am gentle and lowly in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls.

For My yoke is easy,

           and My burden is light.

                         Matthew 11. 28-30

(We were never meant to do life on our own.

      "I am with you," Jesus says.

                  "Lean on Me.")

But I have trusted in Your steadfast love;

  my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

I will sing to the LORD,

      because He has dealt bountifully with me.

 

                                        Psalm 13. 5-6

(Even in the silence, He beckons, "Follow Me deeper,"

       even in the things I cannot understand,

                                   He is good.)

...and you will be dragged before governors and kings

               for My sake,

to bear testimony before them and the Gentiles.

                               Matthew 10.18

(In every opportunity, others are watching 

 and listening to know if God is real.

Bear the name of God in all you do.)

Surely the LORD is in this place,

and I did not know it.

(How little we grasp His power,

          Presence and purpose)

Fear not,

     for I am with you

  and will bless you

and multiply your descendants.

(My obedience or rebellion

   impacts those around me

  and those who follow behind)

Trust in the LORD 

           with all your heart,

and do not rely on your own insight.

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

and He will make straight your paths.

(Follow the LORD into His day for you

with all your heart, in all your ways.

asking for the fulfillment of God 's designs)

So you will walk in the way of good men

and men of integrity will remain in it.

(Who is influencing me?

  And am I faithful to those who

            follow behind?)

Ask,

     and it will be given you,

seek,

      and you will find,

knock,

      and it will be opened to you.

For every one who asks receives,

and he who seeks finds,

and to him who knocks it will be opened.

(God will reveal Himself 

          and His way)

Give us this day

      our daily bread.

(LORD, grant me big vision

         for the place I am right now)

For You bless the righteous, O LORD,

   refuge in Him)

blameless in his generation;
Noah walked with God.

Yet because you relied on the LORD,
He gave them into your hand.
For the eyes of the LORD

         to show His might
in behalf of those whose heart is
     blameless toward Him.
